[45-60 minutes: Personal Development/Leadership]

A terrifying realization growing amongst many parents and educators today is their lack of understanding on how to effectively guide their children's career in the 21st century. In this workshop, you will be handed the keys to unlock the door to tomorrow's future generation. You will be given practical tools on how to effectively guide your students through the challenges that will surface when starting a career. Most of all you will be encouraged and empowered to help your students to discover their design, and fulfill their unique purpose.

The following issues will be covered:

  • The current economic and cultural climate, and how this effects your student's career choices (Some previously successful paradigms simply won’t work today)
  • The pros and cons of working for an employer and/or pursuing an entrepreneurship endeavor
  • How to position your students for success in the job force and/or find their niche as entrepreneurs
